Lamborghini Estoque cancelled??
Lamborghini Estoque concept was probably one of the most interesting concept cars at last year's Paris Motor Show. This four-door supercar was waiting for a green light from the VW's executive board. Now according to Maurizio Reggiani, head of research and development at Lamborghini, Estoque has been put on ice for the time being.
Reason is the overall bad market condition around the world. As Estoque was planned in very limited numbers we still believe they would not have any problems selling this four-door supercar.
Estoque was suppose to hit show rooms end of 2011 with a price tag around £150,000. Estoque concept was a four-door, four-seat front-mid engined four wheel drive supercar, that would have competed right against the upcoming Aston Martin Rapide and Porsche Panamera Turbo.
At the Paris Motor Show Lamborghini said Estoque could be powered by different engines including a V10, turbocharged V8, hybrid V8 and V12 TDI. Lamborghini fans are not happy about it, but it surely is good news for Porsche and Aston Martin as there won't be another competing model for their upcoming four-door supercars.

Lamborghini Eyes Car Market in India
Super luxury car maker from Italy, Lamborghini , views India as its next destination to sell its car. It has identified India as one of the promising markets for its cars. There has been a surge in demand for super luxury cars in India which has been felt by nearly every auto maker.
"India is a big market for the future for Lamborghini. It is a big country and the attitude of buyers is now changing and they are becoming more open to buying ultra luxury high-style brands like ours," says Enrico Maffeo, global director of sales and customer service for Lamborghini.
The growing economic crisis has not deterred these car makers to make India as their next favourite destination. There is a selected class that still opts for these premium models and car makers do not look at volumes when talking about sales figures. "Our business is not that much about volume. It is more of brands and desirability. Our plan is to create brand awareness, and the sales will follow," he said.
Gallardo and Murcielago are the two models currently being sold by Lamborghini in India. It also sells their variants in the country such as Gallardo Superleggera and the convertible Gallardo Spyder falling in the price band of Rs 3 crores and above. The high profile branding is one of the key factors that prompt buyers to opt for this brand depicting the raging bull logo and delivering superior performance.

Lamborghini 4 Door Urus Concept
The Mystery Lamborghini to be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show is none other then a 4 door, which will compete against the forthcoming Aston Martin Rapide and Porsche Panamera. The car is a front engined, coupe styled, four door model and Lamborghini may called it the Urus.

Urus was a type of large, horned cattle in Europe that went extinct in 1627. The source from Automotive News has also stated that the concept is almost ready for production and is likely to feature an Audi sourced powerplant which will be smaller then the current 5.0 litre V10 in the Gallardo, but with equal power thanks to a twin turbocharged unit slotting neatly behind the front axle for ideal weight distribution.

Lamborghini Murcielago crashed in Mumbai!!
Possibly India's most expensive car crash, a Lamborghini Murcielago ate dust in the Maharastrian capital of Mumbai. The dubious distinction came when the mid-engined supercar was being pushed to very high speeds, spun and lost control. Looking at the pictures, the front end is absolutely and completely destroyed with the front axle and wheels nowhere to be found!!

6 Months Waiting For Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4!!
The new Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, the most significant makeover of the Gallardo since the car's introduction in 2003, is proving to be one popular vehicle. Lamborghini announced late Thursday that it has compiled a six-month waiting list for the car, even before its U.S. rollout later this summer. The announcement was timed to coincide with the delivery of the first Gallardo LP560-4 here.
The car was delivered to New Yorker Benny Caiola, Jr., whom Lamborghini described in a statement as a "noted Italian car enthusiast and collector." Caiola bought the car at a local charity auction during the 2008 New York Auto Show. Caiola said he has "owned nearly every [Lamborghini] model." The LP560-4 went on sale across Europe in June with a price tag of $222,000.
