Bajaj to launch its small car in 2011
While the Tata Nano has been declared the most fuel-efficient (23.6km/l under standard test conditions, as tested by ARAI) car in the country today, Bajaj Auto is working hard to make sure its small car goes one better than the Nano, when it's launched in 2011.
Bajaj, which will launch its small, low-cost car in collaboration with Renault-Nissan, is looking at a fuel economy figure of more than 30km/l as well as very low emissions levels. The Pune-based company is committed to launching its small car by 2011, even if things don't work out with Renault-Nissan.
