The Italian Raging Bull maker Lamborghini is all set to make the 4 door Estoque saloon!
Estoque, the name of the idea car that stole the thunder at the motor shows 3 years ago is now going to be produced by the makers of Italian thoroughbred raging bulls, Lamborghini. They say no go to an SUV, but sure go to a 4 door saloon. Lamborghini Estoque boss, Stephan Winkelmann says that the concept car will soon be on the production line as the firm’s third model, after Gallardo, and the soon going-to-be launched Aventador further denying producing an SUV. The Estoque concept will have all-wheel drive, 5.2-liter V10 engine which generates maximum power of 640 Bhp at 8000 rpm with maximum torque of 660 Nm at 6000 rpm with an estimated top speed of more than 190 mph. Swift and hairy, just like good ‘ol Lambos have always been.

Amazingly, the Estoque will have to share the underpinning of a VW car!! Now that’s mixing the automotive royalty with the hoi polloi but that also is a reflection of the strong times we live in. It also will have parts from the owner company Audi as well as Bentley. Since a whole new platform design is too much of a pain and exorbitantly expensive, Lamborghini has had to restrict the ambitions of designing the car from scratch. But then again, Lamborghini wants to make sure that this car will have the same sharp elegance and character as other Raging Bull designs as this car will compete against the Porsche Panamera, Aston Martin Rapide, Bentley, Continental GT and Maserati Quattroporte. And that is a hallowed company where cost cutting isn’t merely frowned upon but is definitely suicidal for the brand.
