Mahindra plants to remain shut for six days this month
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. will keep most of its manufacturing facilities shut for six days, this month. 'Taking into account the slowdown in demand for the company's products, it has been decided to align the company's production plan with the expected demand for the month of December,' says a press release from Mahindra. Last month, M&M saw a decline in sales of around 40% for its utility vehicles, while there was an 80% decline in the sales of the Mahindra-Renault Logan .
