Maruti Suzuki also slashes prices
Maruti Suzuki India has passed on the full benefit of the 4% central value added tax excise duty reduction to customers, and has slashed prices of all its cars, except the Grand Vitara, which is a CBU import.
Depending on the variant, price reductions range from Rs 6,500-7,500 on the Maruti 800, Rs 7,600-8,000 on the Omni, Rs 8,000-9,800 on the Alto, Rs 11,800-12,700 on the Zen, Rs 11,100-12,800 on the Wagon R, Rs 12,100-14,400 on the A-Star , Rs 12,400-17,800 on the Swift, Rs 14,700-21,800 on the DZire, Rs 19,700-23,200 on the SX4, Rs 17,000 on the Gypsy King and Rs 11,600-15,200 on the Versa.
