Maruti SX4 Diesel To Be Launched in India by Mid 2010
The diesel version of Maruti Suzuki SX4 will be positioned in the place that was left vacant by the phased out model Maruti Baleno. Maruti Suzuki SX4 Diesel will debut in the local car dealer's showroom with a 79 percent local content and will proclaim the arrival of Maruti's third platform.
The all new platform will tie in an engine strategy to cover both Euro4 and Euro5 compatibility. The largest passenger car maker of India, Maruti Suzuki is planning to bring out a fourth one which would be placed above the Maruti Suzuki SX4 platform.
According to reports, the carmaker, Maruti believes that many of its loyal customers will be bowled over by the all new Maruti Suzuki SX4 and will definitely prefer it in comparison to other models placed in similar segments. The report added that Maruti is currently in the process of phase localization of the M Series engine Maruti Suzuki SX4, of which the first phase is already complete.
