Porsche Rolls Out 250,000th Cayenne!
The Cayenne has been a huge success for Porsche, a company which was known only for their low slung, high tech sports cars. To further bring home the point and proving the naysayers and critiques wrong, Porsche has just announed that 250,000 th Cayenne has rolled down the assembly line at its plant in Leipzig, Germany.
The vehicle happnes to be headed for Austria but Porsche points out that the SUV gives it access to new emerging markets like China, Russia, Latin America and the middle east countries. The 250,000 th Cayenne was powered by a six-cylinder diesel engine, from a company that until just recently produced only petrol engined cars!
