2011 New Audi A8 Launched in India
Today Audi, unveiled new A8 in Indian market. Audi launched the A8 at the biggest luxury car showroom in New Delhi. Audi New Delhi was inaugurated on this occasion. Initially Audi cars India is offering petrol powered V8 which generates 372 bhp. It is available in the long wheelbase variant of the standard Audi A8 and the 500 bhp 6000cc W12 will also be available later. Audi A8L 3.0 turbo diesel and Audi A8L W12 to be commenced in March and July this year respectively. New A8L 4200cc petrol will be available for 8900000 rupees (Ex-showroom Delhi). The new flagship model demonstrates the company's slogan Vorsprung durch Technik as New Audi A8 features light aluminum body, its highly efficient engines and powerful, the further improved MMI OS, driver assistance systems, the complete LED headlights and a graceful interior with high level of workmanship. With this technology the new A8 offers the perfect combination of dynamics, design perfection, pioneering efficiency and workmanship.
Audi Opens India’s Largest Luxury Showroom
Audi India yesterday opened a band service facility and new sales on Mathura Road, New Delhi. this is the biggest high-end vehicle showroom in the country. Michael Perschke inaugurated Audi's New Delhi showroom who is MD of Audi cars India. John Abraham was also present at the time of Audi A8's launch. The new thirty-thousand sq. ft. showroom can accommodate twenty cars and the total facility is based on typical Audi Terminal concept. Audi manufacturers also include facility which can service twenty-five Audi's car per day on an entire of sixteen bays. Audi cars India will increase national footprint to eighteen locations in this year. New Audi A8L will complete with the likes of BMW 7 Series, Mercedes S-Class and Volkswagen Phaeton. The base model of Audi A8 is powered by 4.2L, petrol engine and it has been priced at rs. 89 lakh ex-showroom delhi. New Audi A8 Diesel is expected to be launched in India by april 2011.
Suzuki India to Launch GW250 in April 2011
Suzuki bikes manufacturers are going to unveil the Suzuki GW250 in indian market in upcoming days. The bike with muscular line and an imposing stance will have street presence to dominate the Kawasaki Ninja and Honda CBR250R. On the front performance, the Suzuki GW250 will come furnished with a 250cc four stroke liquid cooled engine which generates maximum power of 26 bhp 8500 rpm and 24Nm of utmost torque at 7000 rpm while the power of Suzuki GW250 is in the league of CBR250R, the maximum torque is less.
The weight of the Suzuki GW250 is more than the Honda CBR250 with those chunky side panels. No official announcement has been made by the company but we anticipate competitive pricing from Suzuki Bikes, and expect that the GW250 should retail with a worth tag of 1.6 to 1.8 lakh rupees. Ford India to Export Figo

Maruti Faces By 18 percent Loss For Quater three

Maruti Suzuki Launches Kizashi
Market leader Maruti Suzuki India today launched its luxury sedan Kizashi. The car would be available in 2 variants: the manual variant will cost Rs. 16.5 lakh and the automatic version has been priced higher at Rs. 17.5 lakh (ex-showroom) in Delhi. There was a lot of expectation over the pricing of the car since Maruti will import the Kizashi from parent Suzuki's facility in Japan. Maruti Kizashi is powered by a 2400cc litre petrol engine that will churn out 185 bhp of power. Kizashi will compete with Toyota Camry and Honda Accord at the upper end and Honda Civic, Volkswagen Jetta and Toyota Corolla at the lower end. These vehicles are priced between Rs. 12 to 20 lakh.
As per industry estimates, the size of the luxury car segment in the country is over 55,000 units per year. Maruti currently commands nearly 50% of the total Indian car market which was at 1.87 million units in 2010. Maruti India has been trying to get into the bigger car segment for some time now. Its 1st attempt with Baleno did not meet with much success but the company was able to make a mark with the mid-sized sedan Maruti SX4 in 2007.
