Honda Recalls 57853 Citys

Honda Siel India will callback its City sedan to exchange a damaged part in the valvetrain. Japanese car manufacture has proclaimed which Honda cars would carry out preventive portion substitution of lost motion spring in valve train for 57853 units of the City produced from November 2008 - Dec 2009. The 3rd young gen Honda City requires a replacement of lost motion springs that are compressed via rocker arms in simple engine use. These springs can break or bend overtime resulting in irregular engine noise & potentially causing engine stalling & problems in re-starting. Honda India will carry out the alternate free of cost & company will communicate directly alongwith owners of the affect vehicles. A Honda car has also produced a microsite on its Indian site which enables the users or consumers to check whether their vehicles are unnatural. Honda's carrying out the substitution such as part of global exercise through Honda Motor to ensures stringent quality for Honda car products.

Rolls Royce Aims to Sell 70 Cars by 2013

Rolls Royce states that it targets to sell seventy or more vehicles through the incoming years. Every vehicle being hand built to premium of human capability, Rolls Royce Cars was capable to sell twelve units to Indian users in 2007. BMW owned company is currently developing & testing a series of new cars that will be introduced in market in the forthcoming years. Rolls Royce’s new vehicle RR4, a lesser ultra-luxury sedan which in terms of price & size is lower than its present Rolls Royce Phantom variant, will be unleashed in Indian market in next 2 years. Apart from that, the RR will also initiate a Phantom coupe with differ powertrain option later on 2011. The platforms are the part of expansion exercise Rolls Royce cars has undertaken to amplify its market.

Rolls-Royce director (marketing & sales) Graema Grieve alleged: "The new family won't compete with Phantom, but Phantom Sedan will be the 2nd most luxurious in the world. We have seen a gigantic rise in number of ultrahigh net worth individuals in Indian market that make the market very imposing for us. As an exclusive brand, we're looking at the peak end of the modified car market & we anticipate India to come out as the biggest market in Asia-Pacific region in next 5 years."

Mercedes India Launches G-Class Wagen

Mercedes India unveiled the G-Class Wagen that is short for Gelandewagen (cross country vehicle) at Juhu Aerodrome in Mumbai. Widely called the Mercedes G-Class, the version upcoming to India is the high performance luxury car tuned G55. The G55 has a 5500cc fuel V8 under the exhaust hood developing 507 bhp at 6100 rpm & 71.4kgm of maximum torque at 2750 rpm. The G-Class Wagen can hit the 100 kph mark in simple 5.5 sec that is remarkable for a Sport Utility Vehicle tipping scales at 2.5 mg.

Tata Motors Launches Manza Elan

A Tata car has unveile new series of its Tata Manza sedan. Tata Manza has minor tweaks on the outter area that is coupled with new appearance twin tone interior view. The cost will be across all Tata dealerships from Feb7, 2011. The Tata Manza has alloy wheels as normal, dual tone burgundy & soft touch plastics, beige interiors, chrome surrounding the front mist lights, chrome garnished bottom climate strip, novel seat fabrics & new color shade - Tyrian wine.

In refreshed Manza, the 'Indigo' badge has now become smaller with Tata 'Manza' dominating mostly the silverware. Tata Manza Elan also gets a new topend version that has been christened as Tata Manza Elan. There're no modifications in the engine & the new Tata Manza is powered via the same 1300cc 88.7bhp Quadrajet diesel & the 1400cc 88.7bhp Safire petrol car. The vehicle has been competitively rated, starting at the price of Rs 5.14 lakhs for the Model of Safire fuel range, whereas the Quadrajet diesel range initiating from Rs 5.91 lakhs (prices Ex-showroom, Delhi).

2011 New Audi A8 Launched in India

Today Audi, unveiled new A8 in Indian market. Audi launched the A8 at the biggest luxury car showroom in New Delhi. Audi New Delhi was inaugurated on this occasion. Initially Audi cars India is offering petrol powered V8 which generates 372 bhp. It is available in the long wheelbase variant of the standard Audi A8 and the 500 bhp 6000cc W12 will also be available later. Audi A8L 3.0 turbo diesel and Audi A8L W12 to be commenced in March and July this year respectively. New A8L 4200cc petrol will be available for 8900000 rupees (Ex-showroom Delhi). The new flagship model demonstrates the company's slogan Vorsprung durch Technik as New Audi A8 features light aluminum body, its highly efficient engines and powerful, the further improved MMI OS, driver assistance systems, the complete LED headlights and a graceful interior with high level of workmanship. Audi Opens India’s Largest Luxury Showroom

Audi India yesterday opened a band service facility and new sales on Mathura Road, New Delhi. this is the biggest high-end vehicle showroom in the country. Michael Perschke inaugurated Audi's New Delhi showroom who is MD of Audi cars India. John Abraham was also present at the time of Audi A8's launch. The new thirty-thousand sq. ft. showroom can accommodate twenty cars and the total facility is based on typical Audi Terminal concept. Audi manufacturers  also include facility which can service twenty-five Audi's car per day on an entire of sixteen bays. Audi cars India will increase national footprint to eighteen locations in this year. New Audi A8L will complete with the likes of BMW 7 Series, Mercedes S-Class and Volkswagen Phaeton. The base model of Audi A8 is powered by 4.2L, petrol engine and it has been priced at rs. 89 lakh ex-showroom delhi. New Audi A8 Diesel is expected to be launched in India by april 2011.

Ford India to Export Figo

Ford Motor India will have another big year. The Ford Motor auxiliary plans Figo exports to approximately 48 countries or cities, including Africa, Middle East and South America. Last year saw Ford exports 7000 Figo cars to sell the South Africa. Now, Nepal also can option the Ford Figo. Ford cars India is concentrating on exporting to European countries. Ford Motors India hopes to sell 100000 cars in this year at the home front. The idea is to attain a 50% increase rate to consolidate its rank in the Indian market, after creating a record by selling around by 83,887 cars in last year. Finally Ferrari is Coming to India

Ferrari is ultimately coming to India and will unveil its complete series of sports vehicles in April 2011. Ferrari India has link-up with the Shreyans as its sole distributer for India with a contrive to 1st showroom in New Delhi followed by Mumbai. Ferrari's decision to cooperator with Shreyans Groups comes as a surprise specially since Tata Motors India was awaited to be the retail cooperator of the legendary car manufacturer, given its bond with Fiat.

However, Ferrari India has decided to enter in India via Shreyans Group which contract in high-end goods, to set up its network in Indian market. Shreyans Group is also the exclusive distributor for Porsche in Indian market and until recently, Audi cars dealers in Mumbai as well. With the super high-end car market in India prospering and the first Indian Grand Prix 2011, Ferrari could not have timed its low-end into India better. Expected cars to be launched are 458 Italia and the forthcoming 4 seater  Ferrari FF and it is speculated to find a substantial number of consumers in India & it is anticipated that ferrari will be able to sell its super cars in good numbers.

Maruti Faces By 18 percent Loss For Quater three
