Yamaha Reports 30.7% Annual and 69.7% Growth in December 2010
Yamaha India Motor which is a 100% subsidiary of Yamaha Motor Co., Japan (YMC) is doing well in Indian market with its reliable and very good performer 2 wheelers. Yamaha Indian Motor is the 1st company who had stared the sports model in the commuter segment such as Yamaha R15. Yamaha India Motors is getting good response from market and reported the 69.7% sales growth with total units sales of 34839 in the month of December 2010 as compared to 20529 units in the same month the year of 2009. This is a big achievement by the Yamaha in Indian market.
The annual report of the bike company is positive and in favour. It had clocked sales of 350264 two wheeler in 2010 as compared to 26,7895 units in 2009 which is the 30.7% more than last year. YIM is the doing well in the domestic market along with export. It had sold 258,987 units in 2010 as compared to 218,625 units in 2009 which accounts 18.5% more than previous year. On the other hand, it has achieved 85% growth in this year with total sales of 91,277 units as a compared to 49,270 units in 2009. The Yamaha India has exported 8272 bikes in the month of December 2010 as compared to 6917 motorbikes in the year of 2009, while the domestic sale is almost just double with 26567 units as compared to 13612 units in 2009.

Chrysler is recalling model year 2008-2011 Dodge Ram 4500 and 5500 Heavy Duty trucks over potential steering loss. These vehicles may experience a weakening and fracture of the left ball stud on the tie rod resulting in the potential loss of the steering. That as always could increase the risk of a crash.Potential number of units affected is 22,274 and Chrysler will notify owners and replace the left outer tie rod free of charge.

AMG to sponsor Ducati MotoGP team
Ducati Motors, Italian two wheeler manufacturer which known for its superclass bikes, has collaborated with AMG, as a result AMG will sponsor Ducati MotoGP team and both the partners will start joint marketing activities. AMG is the German popular four wheeler maker and always participates in the four wheeler race and now ready to enter in world famous bike race, MotoGP. Honda CBR 250R price range Rs. 1.5 to 1.8 lakh
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has announced the bookings of Honda CBR 250R and it will start from January 1st, 2010. The bike will be available in two variants such as ABS and non-ABS; the former might be priced at Rs 1.8 lakh and the latter will have a price tag of Rs 1.5 lakh. The bike will be loaded with ABS and CBS (a front and rear wheel interlocking braking system) that make it different and advanced than other same segment bikes in India. The Kawasaki Ninja 250r is the direct competitor of the bike that does not have ABS. Honda CBR 250R has already been launched in overseas market such as Thailand and is getting good response from that market.

Kawasaki Ninja 250R Launched Next Year
Bajaj-Kawasaki have quietly launched the 2011 Ninja in India. But before you get very excited let us first discuss what is different between the 2010 and 2011 Ninja 250R versions. Well not much, both the models are totally identical expect the 2011 Ninja 250R gets white coloured instrument cluster, compared to the black coloured one the 2010 Ninja 250R featured.

Other than that, the 2011 version gets new colours but those won’t make it to India. Kawasaki India has made no announcements about the release of the 2011 models but all new Ninja 250Rs have the white coloured instrument cluster, which makes us believe this was a silent upgrade. Nothing to announce anyways.
Honda India Starts CBR250R Ads
Honda India has commenced advertisement for the CBR250R. The company has started using hoardings to publicize its upcoming offering. The hoarding was spotted in Patna by xbhpian Satyajit.

Although the advertisement asks people to refer the company’s website, it has nothing but a link to the global Honda CBR250R page.
