Emami Successfully Develops Bio-Diesel
Emami, a well known name name Indian FMCG sector successfully developed bio-diesel.Today Emami's bio-diesel got certified by Singapore based SGS Group who hold the reputation in testing bio-diesel.The bio-diesel sample from Emami is adjudged as one of the best sample ever tested. Emami Biotechcompleted the trial run of their 300 Ton/Day capacity plant and just waiting for right time.
The plant is located at Haldia,West Bengal.The sulphur content of Emami Biotech's bio-diesel is only 0.83mg/kg against the Indian standard of 50mg/kg ang European Standard of 10mg/kg.Emami's bio-fuel score well below the industrial standard in in ash content, moisture content, total contaminants and carbon residue indicators as well.
The successful test of Emami Bio-fuel comes when government declared EuroIII and Euro-IV standards will be effective for eleven major cities including four metroes.Bio-diesel will have huge contribution to determine the ambient air quality,by reducing the Carbon monoxide,Nitrogen Oxides and hydrocarbons.
