Honda Bikes sales up 32% in December
Honda Motorcycles India has reported a 32% increase in sales in December this year, which stood at 94,082 units, as against 71,010 units in December last year.
Especially significant was the 62% increase which HMSI reported in its motorcycle sales - 37,118 units in December this year, compared to 22,952 units in the year-ago period. HMSI's plant, which was closed on the 27th of December for annual maintenance, will remain shut till the 2nd of January 2009.
